There is no single group size for this whole range. Follow the exact species' social and aquarium guidance, allowing enough adult space and suitable companions. For a species needing a same-species group, several different species do not replace that group. Pacu and predatory characins need their own specialist assessment; do not apply a small-tetra stocking rule to them.
