Silver Scat Spot-banded (Selenotoca multifasciata) is a striking brackish display fish for experienced keepers. It is not a small beginner freshwater fish, so the listing needs to be clear about adult size, salinity and long-term space.

| Minimum aquarium | 450 litres or larger for juveniles |

Care and setup
Set up a large, mature aquarium with hard alkaline water and a plan to increase salinity as the fish grows. Choose robust brackish companions and avoid delicate freshwater-only species.
Feeding
Feed a varied omnivorous diet with algae-based foods, vegetable matter, pellets and occasional frozen foods. A varied diet helps support colour and condition in active scats.
Arrival and guarantee
Livestock orders are packed carefully and sent by licensed live-animal courier. The Live Arrival Guarantee applies when the receiving and acclimation instructions are followed.

I have a small group of long finned mountain minnows. So was delighted to be able to order ten of this variety to increase the genetics in my tank . The ones I recieved are healthy but it’s to early to give a verdict on wether they are of a long finned type since they are small currently.

100% success travel and "installation". Pleased with quality of purchase. The Siamese fighter a bit "shy" so have not yet seen him at his best yet but looking good. Happy customer. GG
