Wizard Snail (Filopaludina martensi) is a peaceful livebearing freshwater snail for calm planted aquariums. It is best kept for its steady grazing, unusual shell and gentle behaviour, not as a quick fix for heavy algae.

Use a mature aquarium with gentle flow, stable water and surfaces for biofilm to grow. Avoid long-term acidic conditions, copper-based treatments and sharp decor that can damage the shell or soft body.
