The Guppy hails from Trinidad, Venezuela, Guyana, and Brazil. Guppies are perfect beginner fish that thrive in hard, alkaline water. They breed constantly so maintain more females than males. Accept all foods and very adaptable.

Tank Setup & Water Parameters

Provide a minimum of 40 litres for your Guppy. Adults reach approximately 6.0 cm, so plan accordingly. Maintain water temperature between 22.0–28.0°C with a pH of 6.8–8.5 and hardness of 10–30 dGH. This species primarily occupies the all region of the aquarium. Recommended group size: 2-3 females per male.
