Use a mature, filtered aquarium and measured water—not a shrimp-per-litre rule. Tropical Fish Co uses 20 litres as a cautious starting policy for a small Cherry Shrimp group, above OATA's general 10-litre screen for small shrimp. Aquarium Setup
Use a cycled planted aquarium with moss, leaf litter, biofilm surfaces and a sponge or covered filter intake. Stability matters more than chasing exact numbers, especially after water changes.
Feeding
Blue Dream Shrimp graze on biofilm, algae and leaf litter. Supplement lightly with shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables and powdered foods for young shrimp.
Tank Mates
Best with snails, Otocinclus and tiny peaceful fish that will not hunt shrimp. Keep colour lines separate if you want to preserve the blue strain.
