Care and setup
Use a mature aquarium with wood, caves, shaded surfaces and good oxygenation. This is not a tank-cleaning shortcut; it is a specialist catfish that needs stable water and a real diet. Keep the substrate smooth and give several retreats so it can avoid brighter areas.
Feeding
Offer algae wafers, sinking vegetable foods, courgette, cucumber, soft biofilm on wood and small protein feeds such as bloodworm or high-quality sinking tablets. Do not rely on algae in the tank alone.
Tank mates

I have a small group of long finned mountain minnows. So was delighted to be able to order ten of this variety to increase the genetics in my tank . The ones I recieved are healthy but it’s to early to give a verdict on wether they are of a long finned type since they are small currently.
