Bronze Corydoras (Corydoras aeneus, also treated in current taxonomy as Osteogaster aenea) is a peaceful shoaling catfish for community aquariums.

Care notes
Use soft sand or smooth rounded substrate to protect the barbels. Bronze Corydoras do best in a peaceful aquarium with gentle tank mates, open bottom space, shaded areas and regular feeding after lights dim so food reaches the group.
They will pick through the substrate for leftover food, but they still need their own sinking diet. Do not rely on them as a clean-up crew or algae-control fish.
