Pagoda Snail (Brotia pagodula) is a peaceful freshwater river snail with a sculpted, pagoda-like shell. It is best for mature tropical aquariums with oxygenated flow, mineral-rich water and steady grazing surfaces rather than soft, acidic or newly set up tanks.
This snail is useful and ornamental, but it should not be sold as a quick algae cure. Long-term success comes from hard water, calcium availability, gentle current and regular supplemental feeding.
