Poecilia reticulata
Albino Sky Blue Guppy Pair are a shoaling species — they need 6+ to feel safe and show their full colour. Larger shoals stay calmer, eat better, and look stunning.

Guppies are social livebearers suited to a prepared beginner, not a fish-per-litre formula. Use a mature filtered aquarium, tested neutral-to-alkaline mineral-bearing water, deliberate sex and population planning, open swimming room, cover and a separation option.
Maintain these water conditions for optimal health and vibrant colors
The Albino Sky Blue Guppy (Poecilia reticulata) is supplied as a matched male-and-female pair, giving you an instant start with one of the most rewarding and colourful beginner livebearers. This strain pairs a soft, pastel sky-blue body with the pink-red eyes of the albino form, so the colour really glows under aquarium lighting. Peaceful, active and endlessly busy at all levels of the tank, it is an ideal community fish and — as a true livebearer — will readily produce live young for keepers who want to try breeding.
Males are the smaller, flashier sex, reaching around 4cm with a large, flowing sky-blue tail and pointed gonopodium. Females are fuller-bodied and grow to about 6cm, with more subtle colour but the same luminous albino red eyes. Because this is an albino line, both sexes lack dark pigment, which lets the pale blue sheen come through cleanly. Fin size and colour intensify as the fish mature and settle.

A 40-litre aquarium is a sensible minimum for a pair, with more room welcomed for a growing colony. Guppies do best in hard, slightly alkaline water (pH 6.8–8.5) kept at 22–28°C, with gentle filtration and plenty of planting — including floating plants — around an open central swimming area. Stable, mature water is far more important than a large tank, so let the aquarium cycle fully before adding your pair.
The Albino Sky Blue Guppy is peaceful and uses every level of the tank, making it an easy fit for a community. Good companions include other small livebearers, peaceful tetras, rasboras, corydoras and nerite snails. Avoid known fin-nippers such as tiger barbs, and any fish large enough to treat a guppy as food. Keeping more females than males reduces harassment when breeding.
As a livebearer, the female gives birth to fully-formed, free-swimming fry roughly every four to five weeks once mature. Provide dense or floating plants so the fry have somewhere to hide, since adults will eat their own young in an open tank. No special conditioning is needed — a healthy, well-fed pair in good water will do the rest.
Feed a varied omnivore diet based on quality flake or micro-pellet, enriched with frozen or live brine shrimp and daphnia, plus a little algae or blanched vegetable. Offer small amounts once or twice a day, only what is cleared in a couple of minutes, and remove leftovers to keep the water clean. Regular small water changes keep colour and condition at their best.
Hardy and adaptable, guppies mainly need clean, stable, alkaline water and a mature tank. On arrival, float the bag to equalise temperature, acclimate slowly to your water, keep the lights low and avoid heavy feeding on the first day. Watch breathing, posture, colour and appetite over the first week as the pair settles in.
