Red Mosquito Larvae (Bloodworms) – Live Food in PE Bags

Overview

Red Mosquito Larvae, also known as bloodworms, are a premium live food for aquarium fish and other aquatic animals. Packed in a water-based solution inside polyethylene bags, this natural feed is designed to offer excellent freshness, easy portioning, and strong feeding response. Bloodworms from the genus Chironomus are widely valued by aquarists for their high palatability and their ability to encourage even fussy fish to feed with enthusiasm.

Choose the pack that suits you — 15 bags of 180ml, 25 bags of 90ml, 50 bags of 45ml, or 1 kg — for convenient storage and regular use. Because it is a live product, correct chilled storage is important. Keep the packs at 2–8°C, ideally in a standard household fridge, away from light and temperature swings. When stored properly, the product can retain quality for 1–4 weeks depending on pack contents and storage conditions. Order from Tropical Fish Co for fast UK delivery and dependable service.

Live bloodworms are a classic choice for aquarists looking to provide variety and stimulation in the diet. Their natural movement and texture make them especially attractive to many freshwater species, helping support a more engaging feeding routine.
