Live Tubifex Worms (Tubifex tubifex) are a protein-rich supplementary live food for aquarium fish that respond strongly to moving prey. They can be useful for conditioning bettas, Corydoras, loaches, discus, dwarf cichlids and other suitable fish.

How should Tubifex be prepared?
Rinse the worms thoroughly in clean dechlorinated water before feeding. Use clean equipment and avoid pouring storage water directly into the aquarium. Live food should be handled hygienically because poor storage or contaminated food can introduce unwanted organisms.
How much should I feed?
Offer only what the fish can consume promptly. Tubifex are rich and should be used as part of a varied diet rather than as the sole everyday food. Remove uneaten worms where practical and monitor water quality after feeding.

I have a small group of long finned mountain minnows. So was delighted to be able to order ten of this variety to increase the genetics in my tank . The ones I recieved are healthy but it’s to early to give a verdict on wether they are of a long finned type since they are small currently.
