Black Ocellaris Clownfish is the black colour form of Amphiprion ocellaris, a hardy captive-bred marine clownfish for reef and fish-only marine aquariums. It keeps the familiar ocellaris shape and behaviour but develops a deep black body with clear white bars and orange highlights on some fins.
Keep this clownfish in stable, fully cycled marine water with good filtration and steady salinity. It does not need a host anemone to thrive, although it may choose a coral or sheltered area as a territory. Best tank mates are peaceful reef-safe marine fish that will not bully it during feeding.
