Endler Guppy Care Guide: Poecilia wingei
Endler's livebearer is a small, social, rapidly reproducing Venezuelan fish. Start with a mature filtered aquarium, a deliberate sex and population plan, stable tested medium-hard water, open swimming room and cover. Our conservative house screen is an aquarium at least 60 cm long and a group of five or more where capacity allows.

Locality-Specific Provenance
In the Endler hobby, locality is everything. Each natural population of Poecilia wingei has evolved distinct colour patterns adapted to its specific habitat. The Cumaná City Centre 2013 collection represents a documented snapshot of one such population. Maintaining the purity of this strain preserves a piece of natural biodiversity that may be lost in the wild due to urbanisation.
Breeding Pair
This listing includes one male and one female. Males display the vivid Cumaná City Centre colour pattern, while females are larger and silvery-olive. From a single pair, you can establish a self-sustaining colony within months. Provide dense planting with java moss or guppy grass to give fry natural cover.
Tank Mates
Peaceful with all small species. Compatible with other Endlers (keep separate to maintain purity), dwarf shrimp, and small tetras. Explore our Endler collection including HB Green Endlers, Campoma N40 Steel Tail Endlers, and Endler Females.

I have a small group of long finned mountain minnows. So was delighted to be able to order ten of this variety to increase the genetics in my tank . The ones I recieved are healthy but it’s to early to give a verdict on wether they are of a long finned type since they are small currently.

100% success travel and "installation". Pleased with quality of purchase. The Siamese fighter a bit "shy" so have not yet seen him at his best yet but looking good. Happy customer. GG
