Tropical Betta is a flake food made for Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) and other small labyrinth fish. Bettas feed mainly at the surface and prefer animal-rich food, so the recipe is built around fish, krill, squid and freeze-dried bloodworm. This listing is the 50 ml tub, which holds 15 g of flakes — a practical size for one or two bettas, because an opened tub stays fresher when it is used up within a few months.

How to feed it
Feed small portions two or three times a day and offer only as much as your betta eats within a few minutes. Crush a flake between your fingers for small or young fish. Remove anything left uneaten, because leftover food quickly spoils water quality in the small, warm aquariums bettas are often kept in. Vary the diet now and then with frozen foods such as bloodworm or brine shrimp.
Storage
Close the lid after each feed and keep the tub somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and from the humidity above the aquarium.
Which size to choose
The 50 ml tub suits a single betta or a small labyrinth-fish tank. If you feed several aquariums, the larger 100 ml / 25 g tub of the same food is also available.

I have a small group of long finned mountain minnows. So was delighted to be able to order ten of this variety to increase the genetics in my tank . The ones I recieved are healthy but it’s to early to give a verdict on wether they are of a long finned type since they are small currently.
