Giant Betta (Betta anabantoides)
The giant betta is a wild Betta species from forest streams and swamps of Borneo, not a large domestic Siamese fighting fish. It has a sturdy brownish body and dark fins that can show blue-green edging, and it is one of the larger wild bettas: FishBase records a maximum of 8.2 cm standard length. Males are mouthbrooders: the male carries the eggs and young in his mouth.

I have a small group of long finned mountain minnows. So was delighted to be able to order ten of this variety to increase the genetics in my tank . The ones I recieved are healthy but it’s to early to give a verdict on wether they are of a long finned type since they are small currently.
