Knife Fish

Black Ghost, Papyrocranus Arowana, Clown, Notopterus and Eigenmannia offers are different named fish. Compare their adult dimensions, social behaviour and water requirements before selecting a juvenile. The supplied length is a purchase grade, not the fish’s eventual size; check turning room, usable shelter and the complete stocking plan.

Ask which foods the current fish accepts and arrange feeding so that it can reach them without being outcompeted. Assess predation risks to small companions and the selected species’ behaviour with other knifefish. A general nocturnal or peaceful description cannot establish a compatible group. Give the fish suitable retreats while keeping its condition and feeding observable.
