Severum forms and other cichlids
The Heros listings sit alongside Rainbow, Topaz, Cutter’s and Yellow Convict cichlids. These other named species are separate choices, rather than severum colour forms. Use the scientific name as well as the common name when comparing them. The gold Heros offer is labelled “Convict Fish gold”, but its scientific label and guide describe a gold severum. Keep it distinct from the Yellow Convict, listed as Amatitlania nanolutea.
