Filter Foam Rough 10 PPI Coarse Aquarium Sponge 50x50x3cm is coarse cut-to-fit aquarium filter foam for mechanical and biological filtration. The 10 PPI pore grade catches larger debris before it reaches finer media, helping filters stay easier to maintain.
This is a non-living aquarium supply, not livestock. Cut the sheet to fit compatible internal filters, external filters, sumps or pond filters, then rinse during maintenance in old aquarium water.
Measure the filter chamber, cut the foam slightly oversized for a snug fit, and place it where water passes through the coarse stage first. Replace or rotate only when the sponge loses structure.
