Rainbow Shark and Red Tail Black Shark are Epalzeorhynchos offers retained in this traditional Labeo collection; Black Sharkminnow is Labeo chrysophekadion. These common shark names describe freshwater fish, not marine sharks. Black Sharkminnow needs a separate assessment for its substantially larger adult size rather than borrowing a Rainbow Shark housing plan.
Discuss the fish and your aquariumThe albino Rainbow Shark remains a Rainbow Shark with the same need to assess adult space and companions. Plan hiding places, usable territory and a way to separate incompatible fish, especially other similar bottom dwellers. Grazing activity does not establish a peaceful community fish or replace suitable feeding.
