Zebrasoma Tangs

Desjardini, Sailfin and Scopas-labelled offers are separate choices, even when young fish appear similar in size. Account for adult body depth, swimming room and shelter in the actual aquarium dimensions. A short supplied length does not make a sailfin tang a small-tank fish.

Provide the named species with suitable regular food rather than assuming visible algae will sustain it. Assess territorial behaviour before adding another tang and leave practical access for maintenance. Surgeonfish have sharp tail spines, so plan safe handling rather than chasing or gripping the fish.
