Chromis and Related Damselfish

Blue Green, Black-bar and Bicolor offers carry Chromis names. The Black-and-Gold Chromis offer is labelled Neoglyphidodon nigroris and remains here as a related trade-name choice. Use its own adult behaviour and care information rather than treating every Chromis-labelled fish as equivalent.

Check the particular species, available adult space, feeding access and how it may behave as it matures. A group seen together in a photograph does not establish a compatible aquarium group. Plan how you could separate fish if aggression develops, rather than choosing a fixed group size for every species.
