Sewellia lineolata and Sewellia marmorata appear here under their Reticulated and Marbled names. Match the named species to the aquarium conditions you can maintain, rather than assuming that every small bottom-dwelling fish suits a quiet warm community tank.

Plan accessible grazing surfaces and suitable regular food as well as oxygen and water movement. Watch that food reaches the fish without faster companions taking it all. A newly set-up aquarium with clean rocks is not the same feeding environment as an established system, and buying a loach is not a guaranteed algae cure.
