Compare slender tinanti, Humphead gibbiceps and Lionhead or Buffalohead casuarius. These are different cichlids, not head-shape variants of one fish. Plan clean, oxygen-rich water with sheltered retreats, then check the exact offer and supplied size.

Slender Lionhead names the tinanti offer; Humphead names gibbiceps; Lionhead or Buffalohead names casuarius. These are separate species listings, so keep the scientific name when comparing adult size, behaviour and water guidance. A conspicuous head shape or a photograph does not establish sex, a breeding pair or identical care needs.
Read the Lionhead/Buffalohead casuarius offerThe tinanti and casuarius profiles describe river habitats and the need for clean, well-oxygenated water. Arrange circulation alongside quieter pockets behind secure rocks or wood, so fish can rest and feed out of the strongest flow. Use sand for digging and stable cave structures. Check the named gibbiceps offer separately; do not copy a pump setting or stocking plan from another species.
Check the Slender Lionhead/tinanti requirementsPlan around the adult fish and the bottom space they will defend, especially near caves. Other cichlids or bottom-dwellers may compete for the same refuges; a shared river-fish label does not establish compatibility. Confirm what the selected size and quantity supply, and ask about any existing fish or intended pairing. Buying two does not establish a compatible pair, and larger supplied fish still need the right aquarium.
