Common and Gold Hypostomus Plecos

The Common and Gold offers carry Hypostomus plecostomus naming. A supplied size describes the fish being ordered, not its adult maximum. Leave usable bottom space and shelter, and assess filtration and companions for a substantial adult pleco. Colour does not remove those housing needs.

Offer an appropriate ongoing diet and ensure food reaches the pleco without persistent competition. A Common Pleco is not a way to remove aquarium maintenance or make waste disappear. Discuss the exact fish and adult setup if you are choosing mainly because algae has become a problem.
